Wandilla Station is a working sheep and cattle property situated on the banks of the Paroo River in the spectacular red soil country of south west Queensland. The Paroo River is the last remaining free-flowing river in the northern Murray Darling Basin and a must-see Australian icon.
Wandilla Station offers bushcamping in the spectacular red soil mulga country 15km south of Eulo in south west Queensland and is home to the Music in the Mulga annual country music festival. Wandilla is a working sheep and cattle property and has permanent water along the Paroo River and Werai Creek offering opportunities for bird watching, photography, bush walking all year round.
The climate is semi-arid but the permanent waterholes along the Paroo River and Werai Creek – fenced off as a 20km long conservation zone – makes Wandilla a special place for viewing a diversity of birds, wildlife and wildflowers.
